About
Big Bear Lake Christian Camp includes Biblical teaching and solo spiritual exploration, creative games, arts and crafts, group discussions, authentic worship, ropes courses, and other activities. The program also includes weekly worship sessions, and some students assist on ropes courses, activities, and weekly worship sessions during Leadership Camp.
• Ages: 9–18 years old
• Schedule: Week-long Summer Camp sessions for 4th–6th grade, Middle School, and High School, week-long Leadership Camp sessions, and a Winter Camp from March 13–15, 2026
• Price: Summer Camp and Leadership Camp Early Bird pricing $375 before May 30 with deposit, regular pricing $475; Winter Camp $165; all camp fees include a $75 non-refundable deposit, with an additional $25 Volunteer Counselor fee for Summer Camp when a counselor is not provided and paid for by a church
In the last 94 years this ministry has touched the lives of so many. The leadership team includes CEO Nery Vera. The staff are described as qualified and committed to the enjoyment and safety of all campers. The program states that its philosophy is to serve each group as best it can with the heart of Christ, with a commitment to integrity, respect, and high standards of service. The camp offers an incredible variety of programs and activities, facilities for every need, and what it describes as fabulous food. Groups can either attend programmed ministries or rent the facilities and provide their own program. Leadership Camp is a week-long camp for students committed to Jesus Christ who want to learn more about what it means to be a leader in their community, and these students assist on ropes courses, activities, and weekly worship sessions. Churches registering for camp are required to bring one volunteer counselor (minimum age 18) for every 9 campers.
